# Invoicing

> Run Orgo for your clients from your own app, and cover them or bill them monthly.

Invoicing lets you run Orgo for each of your clients or users from your own app. Each one gets their own workspace and an API key that reaches only it. They never sign up to Orgo.

For each client you choose who pays:

* **You.** Their computers count against your plan and their AI uses your credits, like your own workspaces.
* **Your client.** They pay you monthly through a payment link in your name. Orgo keeps their computer cost, Stripe takes its card fee, and the rest goes to your bank.

<Note>
  Invoicing is on every paid plan. Manage it in **Settings → Invoicing**, or with the [Clients API](/api-reference/clients/list). Use your account-wide key: a client's own key gets `403` there.
</Note>

## 1. Add a client

```bash theme={null}
curl -X POST https://www.orgo.ai/api/v1/accounts \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ORGO_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "name": "Acme Dental" }'
```

The response has the client's `api_key`, shown once, so store it with your user. Use it like any Orgo key: create and control computers, run the Computer Use API, read files. It can't reach your other workspaces, and it can't create workspaces, keys, or clients. Their workspace stays out of your own workspace list.

Optionally set `external_id` (your id for them), `max_computers`, and `monthly_ai_cap_usd`. See [Add a client](/api-reference/clients/create).

## 2. Bill them

Set up payouts once in **Settings → Invoicing**. Then send a payment link:

```bash theme={null}
curl -X POST https://www.orgo.ai/api/v1/accounts/$CLIENT_ID/billing \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ORGO_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "email": "billing@acme.com", "price_usd": 250, "ai_usd": 40 }'
```

Your client gets an email from your business, and replies come to you. Checkout carries your business name, logo, and color, set under **Settings → Invoicing**, and never mentions Orgo. The price must cover their computers. `ai_usd` is optional: AI they pay for at cost, which adds to your credits each paid month and caps their AI at it. While they pay, their computers don't count against your plan. If a payment fails for good, they go back on your plan and you get an email.

Later, [change the price](/api-reference/clients/update-billing), [refund a payment](/api-reference/clients/refund-payment), or [stop billing](/api-reference/clients/stop-billing).

## 3. Transfer it to them

When the build is done, hand it over:

```bash theme={null}
curl -X POST https://www.orgo.ai/api/v1/accounts/$CLIENT_ID/transfer \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $ORGO_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "email": "it@acme.com" }'
```

Once they accept, signed in to their own Orgo account, the workspace, its computers, and its key are theirs, on their plan. Whatever you built on the key keeps working. You stay on as an admin until they remove you, and any billing through you ends. See [Transfer a client](/api-reference/clients/transfer).

## What you earn

Orgo keeps the client's computer cost and any AI amount. Stripe's card fee (2.9% + 30¢) comes out of your side, as on any payment you take. The rest is yours. A client who pays $250 a month for computers that cost $50 sends Orgo $50, Stripe $7.55, and you \$192.45.
